OneWorld Schoolhouse, Rainforest of Reading and Find 52 trio of logos

Chase the Coyote is pleased to support literacy development charity OneWorld Schoolhouse Foundation. We have known the directors –Richard Clewes and Sonya White –for some years. Richard does ultramarathons to raise awareness and funds. His next run is July 2017 in St. Lucia: “Find 52: The Road to Reading” The event is a 5 day national relay of St. Lucian students.

Who are we and who do we want to be?

Thank-you Norm and Jodi for your support.

Our “Coyote”, the thing we’re chasing, is literacy in the Eastern Caribbean. Literacy is critical to identity and ambition. Everything our organization does – from book drives to reading festivals – supports a belief in the power of stories to strengthen these essential ingredients of success for individuals and communities.

Find 52: The Road to Reading

Find 52 got up and running in 2015 when Richard ran back-to-back marathons in Grenada. (It so happens the island is a 52 mile loop). Earlier this year in St. Lucia, he completed a quadruple marathon with Canadian Olympian Jake Holden and St. Lucia’s Athens Olympics Men’s Marathon athlete Zepherinius Joseph . We do ultramarathons to show kids you can have big ideas and make them happen, too.

We are a CRA registered Canadian charity (BN: 825358484RR0001). We hope you’ll join us and become part of a great story.
